Typical busy village pub, with a friendly atmosphere, serving a varied menu of home-made locally sourced produce, including excellent-value fish and chips to eat in or take away on Wednesday evenings. One real cider usually available. Dogs are welcome in the comfortably furnished bar, with old sofas, chairs and a big log fire in winter. There is also a large beer garden overlooking the glorious Devon countryside. The landlord is a keen rugby fan and games are shown on the television in the bar.
