Traditional, dog friendly pub, set in the heart of the former mining village. The building is one of the three oldest buildings in the village and dates back hundreds of years. Having recently been refurbished to a high standard, the Halfway House now comprises of a wood burning fire, beamed ceilings, public bar, lounge bar and a separate dining room. Home made Food served Tuesday to Sunday. Three course meal available on Sundays.

Three guest beers with over 80% from a 20 mile radius, including Burton Bridge, Golden Duck and 3Ps. Local Branch Pub of the Year 2015.
