Reopened May 2016 after refurbishment. Imposing curved fronted building on main road junction opposite Sacred Trinity Church. Birthplace of the Showmen's Guild of Great Britain.

Sold real ale until quite recently but no longer does. Two handpulls remain unused on the bar.

Pool table in raised room to left of bar. Loud music on juke box.
