Decorated in shades which suit the name, with comfy sofas in one corner. Outside seating in garden at rear, and patio at front. One real ale and others on keg, currently from Windsor & Eton Brewery. Food available lunchtime and evenings, and posh coffees from a barista coffee machine. The unusual name of this old beer house derives from the English Civil War, when there was an exchange of a rose and an olive branch at a local peace treaty. Re-opened August 2023, more reports welcome.
