A spacious family friendly, food-oriented Heartwood Inn, overlooking Englefield Green. Gastro menu supported by bar snacks, with traditional Sunday Lunch. Proper bar area retained, with several real ales available, and a full range of barista teas & coffees. Pretty rear garden, and a front patio overlooking the Green, where cricket is played in summer. Dogs welcome in bar and outside areas, water and biscuits provided. Pub is cashless so card only payment.

Historical inn where in 1852 Frenchman Frederic Cournet was taken, following the last duel in England fought nearby.
