A 17th century coaching house by the old crossing of the River Severn. The river bridge built by Thomas Telford is Grade II Listed and is on the old A5 road from London to Holyhead This is a family owned pub and is quite large and is popular. There is a well used public bar with a fireplace, TV, and pool table, together with a small lounge. There is a separate dining area together with a large dining room to the rear of the building. The pub is situated next to a separately run large camping site and the pub's has fishing rights on the river nearby.
