A welcome addition to the weekend evening scene in Ellesmere, the Vault only opened in mid-June 2017. Located in the cellar of the old Town Hall, it resembles a brick-built undercroft, but because of its size, there is no feeling of being "closed-in". Already it has proved popular throughout the age range by selling real-ale, craft beer, speciality wines and cocktails. Up to three hand-pumps, usually with beers from local breweries, such as Stonehouse and Salopian.
