Large, comfortable town-centre pub, divided into separate bar and lounge/restaurant area. The style is typical of a seventies/eighties Whitbread refurbishment, with stained-glass separators and bar surround. Sunday special menu includes Roast Dinners. 4-8pm pizzas available to eat in or take away. Occasional Steak Nights. Quiz night Tuesday, pie and pool night Sunday, music night Wednesday. A Timothy Taylor's Champion Club Member.
