A pleasant local's pub on a main road junction originally called the Royal Mail before becoming the Cricketers Arms and now Ale House.

A central bar with 5 hand pumps usually serving at least 3 cask ales at any one time from a huge range of 62 in the SIBA local beer catalogue.

A good range of reasonably priced and good quality food.

A very popular pub especially when there are major televised sporting events and Friday's and Saturdays with live music. Other events such as quiz nights are frequent and details can be found on the facebook page.
