This is a small traditional pub in the Old Market Place conservation area with 4 "rooms" that have been mostly opened out, but still feel cosy. The bar is in the centre with 4 hand pumps facing the front of the building. There is additional seating outside at the front set back from the road and attractive enclosed decked area at the rear.

The building itself is older than it looks with the front of the building concealing a medieval timber frame. It became a pub in about 1881 and took its name from another pub in Altrincham called the Orange Tree that burned down in 1880 (According to Altrincham History Society - Three Centuries of Public Houses in Altrincham)
