Friendly family owned pub with a good selection of real ales in a major racehorse-training centre. It has three rooms, the largest more dining than drinking, with televisions in each bar. It serves good quality food and has a log burner in the main bar. Regular events, good centre for Dales walking, and offers tailor-made cycling packages for all the Tour de Yorkshire enthusiasts.
