Family run pub in a principal horse racing training hub. Next to Middleham Castle, and a centre for starting or ending a variety of walks. Open daily from 8am for breakfast. Regular live music. Modest bar with a big adjoining lounge and snug to rear, and then a dining room. Tiled throughout with real fires in bar and snug, and log burner in adjoining bar area. Tables on cobbles at front, and breakfast can be had watching and listening to the racehorses trot by. Snack lunches only until February 11th.
