A large thatched country pub with an interesting history, part of the nearby Charborough Estate. The pub has been here for nearly 600 years, though has been renovated after having burnt down some 30 years ago. It is split into two areas with a single long low bar that is divided into sections giving an overall cosy atmosphere with diners using one end and drinkers the other end. Up to four ales are available and cider from Cranborne Chase.
