A proper community local overlooking the green, this pub is at the heart of village life. The main slate-floored room is heated by a solid fuel stove with separate games and dining rooms serviced from the central bar. Interesting local memorabilia adorns most of the walls. Children's playground in large beer garden. Popular Sunday lunch available and antique shop on premises. Camper Vans are welcome. Bus services in the evening and on Sundays are limited; at other times they are regular.
