Having been closed and sold by Punch in 2013 these premises reopened in August 2017 as the Walker Briggs under the management of Antic. Management then transferred to Portobello Brewery in late 2020 and the handpumps removed. Having closed for refurbishment in autumn 2022, the pub reopened under its new name in early 2023. Legend has it that Queen Victoria once stopped here to drink a glass of water. It is a long narrow pub with a large rear paved patio garden. Toilets (except the disabled one) are downstairs.
