This imposing building up the brae and five minutes walk from the ferry and rail terminals enjoys excellent views over to the islands of Skye, Rum and Eigg.

It offers accommodation and food in the restaurant is locally sourced.

The bar, to the the right of the main entrance and reception, sports two hand pumps (one in use as of Summer 2023) dispensing ales from the Glen Spean brewery near Fort William.

Like other places in the village it can become busy when the Jacobite steam train is in town.

Note closed for four weeks over the Xmas / New Year (Winter) period annually.
