ex Beverley's then Wilson's pub (see the black and white photos on the wall) behind the former Red House Museum. Stone ram's head above the fire place. Popular, separate tap room off to the right, comfortable main and rear lounges, both with soothing real fires. A fine, smart community pub with a good, enclosed garden. Quiz Tuesdays 8:30pm. Free pool every Wednesday from 4pm. Beer range changes occasionally. Usually one cider on handpull. Food not served but can be arranged for functions.
