A lively local. The bar has been moved to the right-hand side of the front room and both this and the pool room at the back have been refurbished in late 2017. As well as pool there are darts and a number of TVs showing music videos & sport. There is an outside smoking area at the back. Cheapest pint in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Historic Interest

Possibly of 17th century origin. Leased to Beaufort Brewery in 1870s. Bowlys bought it in 1907. Offered for sale in late 1991 and became a free house in 1992.
