Known as the Vanni, this popular Fuller's pub is well worth the ten minutes walk from the town centre. It re-opened under new management at the end of April 2022 with many improvements made to the pub and garden which is now partially covered. Freshly prepared food is a speciality and it is a good venue for Sunday lunch and family meals. There is also a private dining room available. London Pride and Hophead are the regular real ales supplemented by a changing beer, often from Windsor and Eton.
