Country village pub run by the same family for over 20 years is situated halfway between Belper and Ashbourne on the A517. Now the only pub in Turnditch, it has a small bar area with comfortable seating near a real fire and a separate dining area. Serves at least 3 ales from the Marstons range and has an excellent food offering all day, including specific midweek evenings for Mac & Cheese, Steaks, Burgers, Pies and Fish & Chips. Superb long distance views to the rear overlooking the Ecclesbourne valley. There is no regular bus stop within a mile of here.
