Comfortable, 17th century coaching inn re-opened as a free house in 2014. A split-level bar provides inviting corners for drinking and conversation. Home-cooked food is served in the bar and restaurant throughout the week, with the kitchen using local suppliers as far as possible. Lunchtime specials are available from Tuesday to Thursday. Five luxury bedrooms upstairs. Restaurant is available to hire for private events.
