The ‘new kid in town’ is a compact and comfortable micropub on the main street. Unsurprisingly, given its name, it is designed to look after local walkers from the Yorkshire Dales and Lakeland fells. The bar showcases only local products including three cask ales and two live keg lines. Reports are very favourable and note the ‘refreshing change’ from the food-based hotels in the town.

Last orders are 30 minutes before listed close time.
