A single roomed pub situated directly opposite St. James Park, the Strawberry has a tendency to be very busy on match days. The walls are covered in Newcastle United memorabilia, and silent TV screens show sporting events. A new roof terrace with canopies and heaters overlooks the city centre. 2 guest beers are available, and above average food at below average prices is served all day. Check out the filled giant Yorkshire puddings.
