Opened in October 2018, the Joker was a large, single bar pub decorated in a modern style, and a sister pub to the Joker in Brighton. Pared-back walls expose original tiling from when it was a branch of Sainsbury's, and a mix of seating styles combined with a range of plants give a continental feel. Up to two changing cask ales were originally available, but the hand-pumps have now been removed. There is an interesting range of keg, canned and bottled beers including local brews. A room at the rear is available for separate hire. There is a pool table, but no TV screens. Renamed the Store in September 2019. Children are welcome until 9pm.
