First opened in 1876 and very much a traditional pub with a wooden floor (please mind the step), beer mats on the ceiling, and a pub dog. There is a semi-divided room at the front with the bar and a smaller room to the rear with tables and chairs. Bar snacks. Sometimes has a cider on for one of the ales which come from all over, Usually has three on at weekends.
