Friendly & well-kept village local dating back to 1831, with a lively tap-room and two small lounges. Spacious beer garden overlooks open countryside. The same family have been tenants for several generations. (GBG 1993) Hours shown are as permitted by licence.

A highly praised internal refurbishment has restored the feel of comfortable separate areas. Bottled organic Samuel Smith beers available.
