This highly popular town-centre pub, run by a dedicated CAMRA member, features a comfortable wood panelled main room, where conversation predominates. A smaller room is located to the rear which features a large map of part of the Peak District National Park on one wall. Guest beers are sourced mainly from local micro breweries. Its location makes it an ideal starting/finishing point for walking or cycling within the Dark Peak area.
