Delightfully welcoming, locally owned village pub serving excellent food. It has two comfortable well-appointed rooms - one a bar and the other a lounge/restaurant. Three well-kept cask ales showcase the best of North-East breweries. The Monday quiz is well attended. This hidden-away pub is in an ideal location for walkers exploring the nearby Hawthorn Dene.
