Opened in 1833 and once home to a small micro-brewery in the 1990's, sadly no more. An L-shaped bar area with lounge seating, two large TV screens, a dartboard, plus dominoes and cribbage are available. Two regular ales, plus one guest ale and one changing real cider. The room at the rear is usually set as a restaurant. Occasional live music events. Traditional pub grub available every day & a Sunday Roast. Open for breakfast from 0930 Saturday and Sunday.
