A sprawling early 20th century pub on ground floor and basement levels. Low ceilings nonetheless make for an intimate atmosphere, although TV sports are available. The downstairs bar, used for overflow at busy times, is available for functions. The original 1674 tavern was given a brothel keeper’s licence by King Charles II for services rendered.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers (e.g. Greene King Old Speckled Hen, Wells Bombardier) and 1 regular beer.
