Handy for the ferry terminal and near the floating bridge to Cowes. After several years of being mishandled by a PubCo it has returned as a free house with three well kept real ales on offer - even in winter. Not overly large you are assured a warm welcome. It retains its character as a town centre drinking establishment.

Prices are reasonable with a jukeboax and frequent lively music sessions.
