Located by the river (under new management from January 2023) this friendly country pub serves a good range of real ales and quality food in a pleasant and relaxing location. Welcoming real fire inside and the riverfront garden offer choices depending on the weather. Very popular in Spring and Summer with four nearby camping/caravan sites and quieter the rest of the year. York waterbus in the summer makes an interesting trip. Quiz night on Thursday.
