This pub which had been called the ship and castle reopened in May 2017 after being referbished. The Saltwater IPA is brewed in by 9 Lives. A family friendly pub offering good quakuty food to the many visitors to Porthcawl. Just off the seafront. There is a large car park next to the pub which is free after 6 oclock.
