Between Salhouse and Wroxham. A large single bar in a comfortable lounge setting, in converted Georgian vicarage set in seven acres of parkland. With a large restaurant and live music on Sundays, the pub is run by the Colchester family, who also run the Recruiting Sergeant in Horsford and three other Norfolk pubs.

About 1.2 miles from Salhouse village, and even further from Salhouse station, there is a large car park and a bus stop nearby.
