Traditional Victorian street corner community pub.

Friendly hostelry, a short walk or bus ride from the city centre serves a wide range of real ales from Marston's portfolio. The bustling pub hosts open mic on Tuesdays, live bands on Fridays (also Sunday afternoons in summer). Part of the community, the pub raises money for local and national charities, such as the Midland Freewheelers (Blood Bikes). Pub and local history and maps displayed on wall, including a list of former licensees.
