Pretty, whitewashed 17th-century cottage inn, in old Roman village. As of Nov 2016 it is under the ownership of an established local landlord. Niall McInerney former owner of both the Crown Inn of Minchinhampton and Halfway House in Box, Stroud.

The pub has a separate bar and restaurant.

Lively and friendly, attracts people from miles around to sample its imaginative, freshly-cooked meals.

Has a patio garden with stunning views over a typical Cotswold valley.

Historic Interest

Grade II listed, UID: 1340675. early 17th-century inn.

Dates back some 350-400 years as an Inn and parts of the building are older than that, with oak beams, flagstones, wooden floors, coffin drop and flaming fires.
