Compact and friendly 16th century town pub that used to have a brewery at the rear. Comfortable bars and additional room beyond the wood burning stove

Pleasant enclosed courtyard with old pub and brewery signs.

Pub itself has no car park and whilst it may be possible to park on street Painswick is narrow and sometimes congested. Best option is Stammages Car Park just off the A46 on the edge of the village. This is a 5 min stroll away
