After over three years’ closure the pub re-opened in November 2023 under the management of Graham and Emma who lease the pub from Heineken’s Star Pub Co. It has undergone a stylish refurbishment with wooden floors and tasteful decor. Entering through the front door, the bar is straight ahead with spacious seating to both right (with sports TV) and left. Further around to the left is a large space housing the pool table. Two regular ales are available, with a third occasionally rotating guest from the Star list. In December 2023 it was Adnams Southwold Bitter. Food service is planned for 2024.
