Old village pub at the heart of the community. The interior is modernised in traditional style with some genuine beams. An L-shaped bar-lounge at the front; up steps to the right to a small snug area with dartboard. At the back is a small lobby with seating, leading to an attractive garden with picnic tables, alongside a long skittle alley. There are pie nights, burger nights, and steak nights.

KinchBus service 2 served the village, but was withdrawn in 2022. It is understood that there is now no regular bus service through Cossington.
