Overlooking Rastrick Cricket ground , with spectacular views far beyond the Round Hill from which it takes its name, this two roomed locals pub is a genuine free house. Although on the edge of Rastrick, there are hourly bus services from Brighouse, Huddersfield and Halifax (alight at Rastrick Fire Station). In daytimes, during the week, the pub operates as a private function venue, often hosting Funeral teas or wakes, as the crematorium in neighbouring Kirklees is less than half a mile away.

Closing times can vary to those advertised. Last orders called half an hour before close.
