A popular Victorian 'corner' pub which has been stylishly refurbished. The single bar is large and airy, with high ceilings and plenty of seating, including at the bar. There's further seating at the front, and a sun-trap garden at the side and rear, which is partially covered.

Up to six real ales are available, mostly sourced from local brewers, alongside up to eight real ciders. Food is by The Blue's NR3 and regular live bands and reggae record nights makes it a popular destination for music lovers. Bed and Breakfast accommodation is available.
