A conservatory restaurant, lounge bar and thriving separate vault (in which sporting events are shown) provides a great choice for the varied clientele. Drinkers and diners mix easily in the busy lounge and the management ensure swift and cheerful service. Outside, a covered patio, with views to the rear of the Rochdale Canal is very popular weather permitting. Nearby bus and train links make for easy travel to this well run and popular pub.

Four beers now: JW Lees Bitter, MPA, seasonal, and the special seasonal Pre-Prohibition Porter. (Feb 2022)
