One of the oldest pubs in Highworth and a Free House. The inside features wooden beams decorated with hops and old adverting signs on the walls. There are five handpumps serving changing ales, with Sharp's a regular. The friendly staff make it popular with locals. The lunch menu is good quality and value. No food in the evening or on Sundays. Occasional folk sessions are hosted on a Saturday evening. At the back there is a garden with a Boules pitch. Open from 9am for breakfast Tue - Fri, but no alcoholic drinks before 10.30am.
