A warm and friendly single-bar community pub handy for St Albans City station - popular with homeward-bound commuters in the evening, as well as St Albans City FC spectators on match days. Traditional and Real cider is always available to complement the ever changing beer range. A secluded garden to the rear offers summer enjoyment while inside there is a traditional jukebox, dart board, table skittles, selection of board games, and daily newspapers available. Resident folk music Wednesday evenings. South Herts CAMRA's Branch Pub of the Year in 2021.
