RE-OPENING Sat.4th July 2020, pre-booed tables only, see pub Facebook page for details. This old pub's first known licensee was in 1722 but it now sports a modern look, with a series of linked rooms and cosy nooks. As well as a patio area there is a beer garden across the road facing onto the river. Open for morning coffee, afternoon tea, through to a full dinner menu, and bar snacks available all day. Menu in accordance with the season, and use local produce when possible. Fish & chip takeaway Friday evenings, brunch Saturdays mornings, and Sunday roast lunch. Beer range now include excellent locally brewed Thames Side ales.
