Welcoming and traditional village pub whose character hasn’t changed in many decades. The interior is spacious but intimate, with no food featured, just ale and conversation. The comfy seating and log fire are enhanced by a music-free environment. Four guest ales are served, from both major national and small local breweries. The sparkler is willingly removed on request. Off-road parking is available opposite the pub. Note that lunchtime opening is weekends only.
