Situated in the picturesque village of Hexton on the border of North Hertfordshire and Mid Bedfordshire, The Raven is a beautiful traditional family pub-restaurant. It is located within easy reach from Hitchin, Luton, Barton and other surrounding villages. It stocks four real ales (often from local breweries) and there is a large garden with children's play things. This is one of four pub-restaurants run by Jack and Cathy Emery, the others are in Bedfordshire. The pub is named after Ravensburgh Castle, an Iron Age hill fort nearby.
