Large pub surrounded by two large housing estates and woodland walking areas. Two separate rooms, a traditional bar and comfortable lounge. The current owners bought the pub in December 2013 and it is now a free house. Andy and Steve have up to six real ales, Dave is the guy who looks after the beers. They source their beers from Local, Regional and National brewers. Extensive gin list. Traditional games and a great community spirit is evident in this must visit pub. Live music some Sunday afternoons at 4pm and some Friday and Saturday nights. Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May is usually a live music extravaganza, with extra beers. CAMRA Summer Pub 2015. Ask about their bottled beers too!

Check www.crewegigs.com for live music information. Great supporter of local bands. All beer the same (very reasonable) price whatever the strength. Normally 6 beers availabble Friday-Sunday.

Home made food is available Fri - Sun, in the form of sausage rolls and baps.
