This historic hotel dates back to the sixteenth century. It was the former home of Sir Christopher Hatton, a favourite of Queen Elizabeth 1st. The pub retains many original features – original floorboards and beams, oak panelling and a priest’s hole. Cosy open fires and a large pleasant garden.
