A friendly welcome awaits you at this charming, cloistered Brakspear country local. Sited within a stone's throw from Frieth village, this pub is well worth seeking out for its cosy aura. The small bar area boasts a log fire in the winter and leads either way to further rooms and seating. The beer garden offers secluded summer family drinking. A classic example of a quaint, rural inn in good rambling territory for hikers. Evening meals are served Friday and Saturday only. Happy hour is 1530-1730 Monday to Friday.
